SOxFree® EGCS & NOxFree® SCR
SunRui's marine exhaust gas treatment systems include two types: desulfurization systems and denitrification systems. These devices are protected by SunRui's intellectual property rights, meeting the requirements of the IMO MARPOL Convention. With compact sizes, they are easy to install on ships, and their overall technology and main specifications are at the international leading level.
SunRui SOxFree® EGCS
SunRui's exhaust gas desulfurization system uses compound wet technology, employing open-loop and closed-loop operation modes in different sea areas to achieve the optimal balance between operating costs and emission requirements.
- Optimized materials to ensure the service life of the scrubber
- Mature water treatment design for enhanced reliability
- Integrated control system for easy operation and maintenance
- Practical layout ensured by advanced 3D design software

SunRui NOxFree® SCR
SunRui's exhaust gas denitrification system adopts Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), where reducing agents react with nitrogen oxides within a specific temperature range (280-450°C) under the action of a catalyst to generate harmless nitrogen gas and water. To ensure crew safety, the system does not directly use ammonia gas as the reducing agent. Instead, it sprays urea solution into high-temperature exhaust gas for decomposition to produce ammonia, avoiding risks during ammonia storage and use.
- High & low-pressure design
- Use of long-life catalysts
- Development of a compact second-generation device underway
